Recently Completed Development Works
1. Extension
of Apron Area:
The passenger apron was extended from the Foxtrot taxiway towards the west, and the export cargo apron was expanded on the northern side of the existing export cargo apron. These extensions will accommodate larger aircraft and enhance cargo handling capabilities, contributing to improved efficiency at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
2. Upgradation
of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport:
Significant upgrades were made to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, enhancing its facilities and services. These improvements include modernization of infrastructure, passenger amenities, and operational systems to provide a superior travel experience.
3. Enhancing Passengers service quality improvement and advisory service:

4. CAAB
Headquarters Complex:
A new headquarters complex for the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has been constructed. This facility serves as the administrative hub for overseeing airport operations and management.

The construction of the 3rd Terminal and other infrastructure development works are currently in progress at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. 2. Digital Security System
Consultancy:
Consultancy services have been engaged to deliver more effective security system solutions at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. These measures will strengthen the airport's security infrastructure, ensuring the safety of passengers, staff, and aircraft.
3. Construction
of General Aviation Hangar and Apron:
Another ongoing project involves the construction of a General Aviation Hangar, Hangar Apron, and Apron on the north side of the fire station. These facilities will cater to general aviation operations, promoting private and corporate air travel.
